Here’s a chance to travel deep inside the island’s interior to see and experience villages and forested landscapes not often visited by average tourists. Our adventurous itinerary, which does not visit any major ‘mass-tourism’ destination, uses a combination of small asphalt roads and well-defined dirt tracks to bring Nature and Culture together. Our goal is to show you the best and most real side of Cyprus, and to provide maximum contact with local people and their animals. Participants can look forward to: 

Unforgettable vistas over vineyard areas, river valleys and pine forests;

Combination off-road driving and light ‘mini-treks’ (15-20 minutes) across diverse and rapidly changing landscapes;

Visits to little-known cultural monuments: stone-built churches, old bridges, abandoned villages.

As always, each expedition includes a very memorable lunch at a small village taverna featuring a variety of vegetarian and

non-vegetarian specialities not found in tourist restaurants. We eat what the local farmers eat! Sorry, no chips!!

Drinking water is provided throughout the day gratis. As we reach elevations nearing 1000m, appropriate clothing is suggested. Bring proper footwear.
