MONDAY
THE
GORGE TREK
Grade:
INTERMEDIATE Distance: 11kms
A
slippery and challenging journey through one of Cyprus’ most impressive
natural wonders: A giant
limestone canyon.
This trek begins at the foot of an
isolated goatpath and ends on top of a 300m
cliff. Superb views, fantastic scenery, lots of hopping from boulder
to boulder and visits to the impressive tunnel and
amphitheatre
sections. Our most popular Trek.
TUESDAY
LUNAR
LANDSCAPE TREK
 Grade:
INTERMEDIATE Distance: 14kms
This
trekking adventure features a combination of two extremely isolated
environments: a large river canyon and high chalk plateaux
overlooking the sea. The coastal sections takes place along
steep, 200m sea cliffs, where "moon-like" erosional sculpture
and many deserted beaches can be observed. Perfect for
bird-watching and wild flowers in Spring.
WEDNESDAY
THE
POTAMOS TREK
Grade:
EASY/INTERMEDIATE Distance: 12kms
An
abandoned river valley provides some of the most dazzling walking
landscape on the island; trek to deserted medieval monuments,
see hillsides carpeted with anemones, asphodels, orchids
and poppies in the springtime, and visit unique bird sanctuaries
year round. Crossing active streams means you may get
your feet wet from time to time! Takes you into the heart of western
Cyprus.

 THE
DREAM TREK

EASY/INTERMEDIATE Distance: 15kms Like
the ‘Dream Team’ from certain sports arenas, we have collected
individual ‘landscape stars’ and incorporated them
into
one single-day trekking adventure. This trek
features three of the most unusual
(and unforgettable) nature spots in western Cyprus:
a spectacular 10m high waterfall (optional swimming), a
unique
valley/canyon area with the weirdest rock formations in Cyprus,
and a mysterious stretch of coastline with dozens of sea caves,
natural archways and other forms of erosional sculpture. Like
a dream, it’s too good to be true!
FRIDAY
THE
DHIARIZOS RIVER VALLEY TREK
Grade:
EASY Distance: 10-14kms
Through
orchards, vineyards and pine forests we reach the
upper
ridges of the Dhiarizos valley, passing many
ancient villages, medieval monuments.
Of the four major river systems in western Cyprus,
the Dhiarizos valley is the longest, most historically rich and,
in terms of landscape, the most physically diverse. For your walking
pleasure we’ve selected the most spectacular section featuring
ever changing environments, up-hills, down-hills, ridge-tops and more
gentle, riverbed sections. Although gentler than some
of our other Treks, the constantly changing landscape makes
this one of the more memorable walking experiences
in
Cyprus.
SATURDAY
THE
CIRCUM AKAMAS TREK
 Grade:
INTERMEDIATE Distance: 15-20kms
Circumnavigate
the environmental wonderland of the Akamas peninsula
using goat-paths, ancient agricultural tracks and nature trails.
See the mixed pine-juniper forest and the fragile northern Akamas
coastline featuring the ultra-clear
turquoise waters of the Fontana
Amoroza area
(swimming optional). Trek into the
heart of Cyprus’ ‘sacred Nature
lands’ and experience the magic
of this unique environmental
wonderland. A few steep, hilly
sections make this a bit of a work-out, but not without
rewards: Probably the best coastal scenery in Cyprus!
