Ancient Corinth - was
a powerful centre in Ancient Greece. It join forces with Sparta
to fight against the might of Athens leaving the city weakened
allowing the Romans to invade in 146BC. They destroyed the city
which was later rebuilt by Julius Caesar in 44BC.

Ancient Mycenae - The
excavated site boast the famous Lions Gate and Tomb of King
Agamemnon as well as some Greek Mythological stories.

Argos - The
ancient theatre of Argos (photo above) was one of the largest in
Greece. Near the theatre you can also see the remains of
Roman Baths displaying colourful floor mosaics that are still in
good condition.

Nafplion
- a picturesque town with many historical
places of interest, especially the two fortresses.

Ancient Tiryns - said
to be the birth places of Hercules this ancient site has many
mythological stories attached to it. In the distance you can
view Pegasus Mountain where Hercules friend, the winged horse
was said to have lived.

Epidavros - In
ancient times this city was a famous medical centre and
sanctuary (The ancient site of the Sanctuary of Asclepius,
Ancient God of Healing). The Ancient Theatre is also a
highlight of the area with its perfect acoustics mastered
thousands of years ago.
